So, this is something I've seen several times now and it's something that should probably be easy for chess.com to act on.
Who else has run in to a cheater, seen them get banned, and then when you look back through your games you see their name has changed to *username*-inactive and there's a brand new account with the original username just shooting up in elo?
Maybe chess.com don't want to start IP or hardware banning people, but at the very least you can deny them the name they want or when they do this immediately ban the new account.

chess.com bans many accounts and has used IP bans on many occasions. Just keep reporting the members you suspect of breaking chess.com's tos. Threads naming and shaming particular members are not necessary though. Discussing cheating in the public forums is not allowed.
