Reported for "using an engine"

I just completed a game against someone, and throughout the entire ending of the game they accused me of "using an engine", and "to go back to yahoo chess". They then said they'd report me for cheating, and left notes on my account saying "report him for cheating". I'm rather annoyed at the experience, although perhaps I shouldn't let the troll win!

Is it likely that such a report would end with my account being banned?

On a side note, if you'd like to see the game which led to the player deliberately timing out while insulting me, then check it out here: [publicly accusing of bad behavior not allowed, link removed and member contacted. -- MOD]

Unfortunately, jerks exist everywhere. As long as you weren't cheating, there's nothing to worry about.

We're not supposed to discuss that stuff here. (Big brother's watching. Smile) You'll have to join the cheating forum to ask those kinds of questions.
