we are talking online chess may i add any way many interesting points of veiw
resigning after one move

possible, but still i feel bad gamesmanship, i gain points not earned
Happened to me also...
But you cannot Remove those Points Abstractly. Impossible. I tried it.

My view is each player should have the freedom to do whatever they feel is needed to progress their play.If I have an open invite and someone picks it up who is already playing 132 active games and not very good I might add,I will either abort(my preferred way)or resign, take the hit on my rating and move on,it is life and life isn`t fair.So ,suck it up,get over it,shake it off, move on, there are way more good games out there than bad ones.

joeydvivre wrote his best point of veiw in this regard.
In fact you may feel that as a "bad gamesmanship" mutually. But I don't think that's right because your opponent has taken a clear decision and completely respected his 'opponent's' status by sorting it out in the very best possible way.
He respected you as a decent opponent sitting somewhere crossed boundaries and acted decently by "Resigning" which is the best option after one move done and willingly lost his point in his inconvenience for completing that particular game.
Even though a lack of communication could be seen here. May be that's because of the language difficulties or the person did not feel that he has done anything wrong to his opponent since he resigned and gifted the "point" what exactly his opponent deserved in such a moment.
"So he earned you a point very early as per your right and lost himself in his situation whatever it might be".
Resigning a game after 1 move is not "losing intentionally" that the Fair Play policy is about. It's because something else happened in his life and he had to stop playing chess. It's the same as a forfeit loss in a tournament and everyone who has played enough tournaments has done that. Would you rather he just let his clock expire?
Not only should this person not be booted from chess.com - there isn't even a hint that he did anything wrong. Sorry that chess can't always be your first priority in life. Sometimes the kid falls out of the crib, or the toilet overflows, or the phone rings and it is Johnny's sixth grade teacher, or the hamster dies and Gracie is beside herself, or the process server is at the front door, or they just changed the margin requirements on platinum and your employer calls, or [blah, blah]
Honestly, if you think that someone should be booted from chess.com because they resigned after 1 move, you either aren't thinking or have so little life experience that you have no material to think about.
I am sorry I didn`t make myself clear. I do not mean that the player did anything wrong and I do not think he should be banned at all. But since someone mentioned the Fair Play Policy I checked it and the above was the only thing that might have something to do with the problem in question.
