i think it's rude to cut someone off when driving and flip them off like it was their fault.
Resigning

Resignation, when lost, is appropriate.
Serious and seasoned players don't give a fig about giving checkmate, unless they've got something personal going on.

The decision to resign (or not resign) may be based on the hope for a miracle or a stalemate or a blunder from a not very good opponent.

Some think it's rude (not) to resign (under whatever circumstances) some think it's rude when you (don't) say gg, some think it's rude to take vacation, some think it's rude to play much higher/lower rated opponents, some think it rude when you're not in the mood for smalltalk, there will always be some that think you're rude...
We need another one, we really do.
There are only 12 other threads with the same exact title.

lol
I wonder how many threads there are now on resigning?!

It appears this is number 13 in this forum alone lol

Resigning is an art form that takes may chessplayers a lifetime to learn. Others come to it naturally.

That's an excellent idea! The resigner can resign in style this way, and whenever he wants because the opponent will enjoy the pleasure of the exploding king!
I think it's rude to resign on the last move so you avoid a checkmate. Resigning is for earlier in the game when you get behind and realize you aren't going to win, so no need to "play it out" and waste time. Resigning on the very last move so you don't get checkmated on the next move is rude imho.
