Ridiculous Starting Setups

So… A friend and I have started finding weird starting boards. This is the current one. Any advice how to win? xD

This is stalemate, unless black starts playing. Now, if black starts playing you need to tell me the rules of this setup( does black need to checkmate one king or all the kings?...)

Blue_N0va

I don't know 😆 That's the fun part

If black plays first, a5 or h5 would win the game, as checking one of the edge kings would in fact checkmate all the kings! Interesting setup grin.png

about that...

MysticalDeamonKat

oh my how did you do that

White to move: Stalemate

Black to move: Mate in one by any legal pawn move.

Just declare victory and go home

Blue_N0va

YA CANT! Any move is an "illegal move" according to chess.com. Weirdly, black is moving first, but still, you can't win. Also, what even is checkmate in this situation 😆

Did you use the analysis to play the move you showed?  I found that I can set up a starting position with multiple kings of the same color, outside of 4 player chess on chess.com I can only look at the moves using the analysis feature, but cannot create a game that starts from a position with multiple kings of the same color, unless it's 4 player chess.
