That's awesome. On Chess.com we have a mantra: Battle, Battle, Battle!
Keep it up
roadblock
after many ups and downs got to 181 this friday noon session maybe after my nap i try again would be nice to get to 200 my highest ever before day breaks -- i shouldn'd wish for things to lofty
well not to today played sunday afternoon and played very badly back in the basement level again 120 and under -- again playing a lot of players at 200 plus skill level and not under 150 which i have set -- but i just play to get to 30/40 moves before i am beat - which is ok i guess - i believe 200 is just way to far out of my play to ever make -- at least using conventual methods to win- - i will continue on maybe tonight it will be better outcome -- more draws- less losses- more wins- off to my afternoon nap after my meds are taking hold - see you at just after supper
monday morning and three losses in row and one win cheaply gotten- out to put up xmas tree lights now from the honey due list -- before i fade -- see after lunch before the nap or after which ever comes first
monday afternoon lost three in row to bottom feeders like me - one win - i only win when i get lucky -- i guess - at least i lost all three in the 30/40/50 moves -- but little consolation- downward slide again back in the basement -- well at least xmas tree lights are up -- let snow let snow let it snow ------ oh wait !!!! i've got to get my snow blower out of the shed and see if still works this year -- will nap later and play games just before supper
Brilliant. To reiterate the old adage: Battle, battle, battle!
Every win is one step closer to mastery of this game.
this morning tuesday got lucky again three wins in a row and one loss still in the basement mind you but i saw a way to sneak a win here and there out doesn't always work but 2 out three times it seems to -- will further investigate will see you just before noon
when someone wins against me now i tell them that they are too smart for me -or that i am stupid cause most times they don't win on their merits they win because i do something really stupid or miss a really east seen move - once in awhile even when i run pretty good game i get beat by someone who plays almost prefect moves against and to those players i always say good game they beat me cause they where smarter than me----- not me doing really stupid things
back to basement times again 3 wins three losses----aguh!!!!!!!!!!!
thursday morning three losses in a row -- i must be on a skid to the 100 again
maybe this afternoon things will turn around if i find a way not to play 230 to 250 players they are just too smart for me --
friday at noon-- didn't feel to well this morning to play -- three losses in a row back to 100 score again
there is no good work going on here - but thanks anyways Saturday morning three more losses well try three more before giving up for a while - worst slide i have had in weeks -- still wish i fix that playing 200 to 250 type plyers and just play 180 and down players maybe its bot time for the rest of day --
sunday morning three wins four losses -- sliding again-- down down to the 100 pit bottom
maybe tonight will better
Battle battle battle - remember this addage! There is something so heartwarming seeing a total beginner beat all odds and rise to the tippy top.
Noobs really are amazing creatures, as I have said before. You can learn all that there is to know about their ways in a minute, and yet after a hundred years they can still surprise you at a pinch!
longer games just make losing a longer time element - i do no better playing longer games than i do shorter - 5 minutes sometimes 10 minutes if i feel well enough ,is best for me cause it gives me about three or four games before i fatigue and then rest-
monday morning started out not so good - three losses in row only one win going to try one min. games since iam now at 100 again
this afternnon games went very well indeed -- up to 171 score as of thursday 4pm -- after supper sesion well see if my luck hold up thanks to all for the well wishes - i could use them
