tried a couple games late this afternoon i was depressed so thought i play what a mistake all losses -- so will stop now till tonight maybe i will feel better and thereby play better

dwon down down three late night games all losses -- oh boy what a mess
very interesting morning lost a few won more all the players --all players that is where just really bad i mean worse than me can that be !!!!!!- where are these guys when i am really down in the dumps and need a pick me up -- they came at once to the site ????and played me
can't figure that out ?? does chess .com clump them all together mystifying to me
oh well back a little latter maybe i get another cluster of those guys again i can wish
well Tuesday night went better than i expected -- more wins than losses and two draws for not enough material thing on the part of my opponent's
so i just have to stop !@#itching and just keep playing --- maybe i can dig myself out of this hole ?????? you know 200 is starting to look possible again

well finally worked my way back to the basement just too tired to keep going can't lose any more points anyways --one more game then i done for tonight
sometimes like tonight thursday night is only good to watch picard on tv -- and that new show with girls with lightning taking over the world maybe that one i need being a old kute so still in basement one more game then maybe couple games of poker and then tv defiantly not anymore chess games -- watched two chess lessons here tonight -- made me think -- but i doubt that its anything i could use in a real game - your opponent never plays they way you think
friday night is same as thursday night -- 100 solid play again watched three lessons here on the site good presentation but little help getting anything i can use -- i will try since iam at 100 fooling around with players -- couple more of games while i watch wheel of fortune
monday morning four losses in a row all lost with in three moves -- really hate those rush type artists i want to play a real game
You should look up scholar's mate because you are falling into very similar traps. And you have to pay attention to what your opponent is doing.
i think i figured on what to do to make games enjoyable to play -- going to try computer players and bots etc and forget about winning -- play to just play --since i will never win - i have to forget about moving up and just stay at 100 - and be satisfied with that
plus the bots don't sandbag you like a lot of players here do

He 's said he doesn't want to learn how to play "like everyone else", he wants to discover a whole new way to play which makes you able to win without learning any patterns or strategies or improving your situational awareness. You can see- he even thinks other 100 ELO players are sandbagging because often they have learned a couple of basic patterns. He'll be where he is forever, sadly.
Yeah I should know, it's a waste of time trying to tell him - he's had tons of good advice in this thread which he steadfastly ignores.
the advice you mention that all these people have given me is really only three people who had anything i could use - at my level - and yes i have squandered most of that good advice old dog new tricks thing - and to those three people that actually had helpful advice iam sorry- but my thinking here is if an ai can develop a never before scene winning strategy that can't be beaten -- see 60 minutes program last sunday night - great article on ai and how it can beat all master level players -- then maybe my scenario is not that far fetched -- i am not a ai but just an very old sickly man on his last legs- but maybe i could stumbled on this winning ai strategy by chance --- maybe? could happen? most likly not but then iam going to give a try so try not ot be so critical of others dreams
Ok fair enough. I think you are kidding yourself though.
BTW do you know that if you play "Daily" games the site gives you access to an analysis board where you can rehearse the next few moves of the game you are in before you actually commit to your move? If you've not tried that I think you should give it a go - it's a great way to check for blunders and really explore the position you are in to find your best move.
ok i didn't know about that daily feature sounds like a great way to improve without getting frustrated i will be sure to give it a try thanks for the info
Wednesday morning played a 50 /50 game set same number of losses as wins - so 133 the same as before but at least i didn't go down -- wed afternoon play will be better i hope but then i have to get to the honey due list first - see you then
why on heavens earth would you wnat me to join your firebishop club -- iam a 100 player at best and have nothing to give in chess advice--- only iam am a good source of winning points since i lose most of my games -- so i guess you do need lowlifers like me to keep playing-- is that why ???? i really don't underatnd the idea or point to a chess club like yours -- maybe you could explain to me and other low lifers what is the advantage of joining ?

by the way that poker tournament i was in i was three players out of the money before i got knocked off - had to eat dinner and wasn't concentrating on the game as much i should have - made a couple blunders for sure cost me getting into the cut off for money would have been nice if at least made it that far after 3 hours work -- oh well life was not meant to be easy - at least for me see you this afternoon
