Rubberbanding in recent weeks, most noticable when time runs out

I've had several bullet games end on me running out of time when I do the move with 0.1 or 0.2s still left.

It does the move/animation and I hear the check sound, the opponent's timer starts - he runs out of time, yet half a second later it rubberbands back to the previous position and I lose on time.

This happens both on pc and on phone, both on home connection and on mobile data, and has only started in the past week or two, never before in years of playing (other than massive outages).
