If you move your knights too much in a game, resign. It confuses people's sense of direction.

some people are unaacustomed to the basic polite rules of chess. when you are lower-rated and playing a high rated player...resign on move 1. if you don't, you are ruining other peoples' fun.
when your opponent offers a queen exchange, accept it. ALWAYS. do not refuse and then offer one later. that is rude and it ruins other peoples' wives.
don't push pawns in the opening. this ruins other peoples' slaves.
finally, if you end up down a piece...and maybe you sacrificed it...resign IMMEDIATELY. if you do, this ruins other peoples' LIVES.
