Didn't England just spend years "helping" Afghanistan (along with the US and the rest of NATO) by killing thousands of innocent civilians? And didn't England eagerly join the completely unjustified invasion of Iraq, destroying cities and inflicting tens of thousands of casualties? If you had spent all your time trying unsuccessfully to stop your country from engaging in those wars you would understand how a nation can launch a war that most of its citizens oppose. If you didn't get out and do everything possible to change your own government's actions you are simply a worthless hypocrite. And how is it that you are sitting at home on chess.com instead of going to Ukraine to join the battle, or at least rescue the fleeing victims?

I strongly oppose the invasion and aborted the game two or three times initially but later no longer, find it unnecessary and play with anyone now. I've also got the game aborted a few times and have received some ugly comments because Slovenian and Russian flags are quite similar and some people evidently mix them.
Let me ask you a question: Why does it matter who you play?
I don't pay attention to the flag; I just concentrate on the game
Also to me no flag is worth losing points through abortion
It's good to remember that lots of Russians are wonderful people who oppose the war.
