Sacrificing Pieces For Positions

It’s kinda like that.

ill sack a bishop to open a castled queen some times " the greek gift" iv played the nahkamonson gambit in a game where i mated with a queen an rook left on the board an saked everything else. other guy was up like 12+ but had no peices off his first two ranks due to unlimited checks.

Brilliant!
In my last game I won by sacrificing my bishop. I was playing white and I sacrificed my white square bishop which would be my fourth strongest piece, what with the queen being the strongest piece, the two rooks being the 2nd and 3rd strongest pieces and the white square bishop being the 4th strongest piece if you're playing white. So anyway, if anybody wants to check out my last game at the time of this post, you will see that I sacrifice my white square bishop and then in the next few moves Im able to get checkmate. So sacrificing pieces, even very strong pieces, can be good if it gets you in a good position, especially if it gets you in a position where you can win.
