If that is your behavior in chess, to one degree or another it will be reflective of your response to non-chess related stress.

The only good you can take from it is that it provides you personal insight to what you need to change in yourself to be a more secure person.

Anger is a parasite that devours the host.

Strive for equanimity - win or lose if your emotions stay the same you are a more stable person.

It should be more satisfying if you can look back on how you behaved after a stressful event occurs in your life and know that you handled it, than whatever satifaction it gives you to win what is ultimately a meaningless occurrence such as winning a chess game.

It seems it is a good start for you that you at least recognize that you have an aberrant reaction to losing and want it not to be so.

Do u grow the staff yourself, u need help, can't imagin playing u in person (face to face), what happens when u ur playing a friend at home and then you lose? Do u bite their arms off?. More still what if u were to fail an exam at colledge? It's just a game and you should take it that way.

Did I mention that I get that sensational feeling whenever I touch my big, soft friendly pawns? I love how they jiggle too.

Also, look at this nice stamp I found for our collection!!!

Hey bro, all of us here play chess. All of us have made the same mistakes OTB. There is no way in hell someone is going to rise up and win every single match, Just look at Kasparov when he lost, exits with slamming doors and such...you got to get over that. All these jokes and puns and such are all for fun. If anyone has made any most dumb@$$ mistakes, it would be me. If I was still a member of USCF, I'd be rated around a 1000, maybe 950. Dude, I'm a patzer!! Always remember the reason why you play chess, for enjoyment, for socializing, for laughs and fun. Never should you stress out this game. Before you can be great, you have to be good, and before you can be good, you have to be bad. Failure is a prerequisite for success.

I gutted one of my stuffed animals the last time I lost.

Was your stamp collection OK? Gotta be nice to the stamps.

When I lose, I rend my buttoned shirt, yank my hair and scream like a wounded banshee.

There was one time I lost so bad that I did that desk flip rage thingamajiggy to my opponent. See? Repost.

If that's all you have to worry about in life, losing and getting upset about losing at chess, I'm sure a lot of folks would love to switch problems with you.  Sir, you have it made!

I almost had nightmares about a brutal loss. I lay in bed thinking, "Was that a knight or a bishop? If so, I could have won!" It was rated.
