Depends if the person is close minded or immature.....
Serious question on chat etiquette
but if you are one move into a game, its a bit strange to resign on the grounds the other player is intimidating..😯
To be honest, I think pointing out my errors during play would probably be a full time job and quickly become irksome for both players.

lol
That is funny
if you’re playng a daily or live game not anything serious but rated is it helpful to point out a better move your opponent could have played or does it cum across as patronising?
Idk, how is that cumming along for u?
Only happened to me twice in 1.4yrs/1.8K rapid games. Once when clock was not really on my side, he was quite right but didn't want to take time to look at, Just said "tx, will look at in analysis." Another time guy said "you have a a very poor pawn structure" 10 moves into game. Rude, just trying to get me off my game, which I drew anyway despite him being slightly better rated.
After the game would be beneficial to both players. You will get a bigger picture of the circumstances that led to the position.
I'd also be careful in spelling "come" correctly unless it's with a friend.
Why

Do it after the game, and also tell them how it was blatantly obvious to you and they are really bad at chess for not finding the move.
