Good question. I think if it’s a friend then okay but I’d prefer to discuss errors after the game has ended.
To be honest, I think pointing out my errors during play would probably be a full time job and quickly become irksome for both players.

Only happened to me twice in 1.4yrs/1.8K rapid games. Once when clock was not really on my side, he was quite right but didn't want to take time to look at, Just said "tx, will look at in analysis." Another time guy said "you have a a very poor pawn structure" 10 moves into game. Rude, just trying to get me off my game, which I drew anyway despite him being slightly better rated.
After the game would be beneficial to both players. You will get a bigger picture of the circumstances that led to the position.
Analysis with your opponent should come after the game is done.

Do it after the game, and also tell them how it was blatantly obvious to you and they are really bad at chess for not finding the move.
