You're colorblind then
Oh! That's why I am recently losing so many games. I see only as black and white.
We all have reasons to not play chess. If you don’t enjoy it, stop immediately and find what truly brings you joy. Life is to short to waste it needlessly. If you really do enjoy it, accept no excuses, limitations, or reasons.
For example this is, IMO, an extremely stupid test. Close your eyes and visualize a red star.
What do you see?

In your last 60 blitz games you've played 1 player rated 1400.

Considering you pay nothing to support and improve this site, i invite you to leave and enjoy playing elsewhere.
You can quit, but what would that do for you? I know chess is just a game, but you can stil enjoy the game can't you?
Even so you do decide to leave the game for a while or permanently there is probably better things to do with your time, if I am being 100% clear. Chess is a game, meant for relaxation and to be calm at times, however to constantly play it is not fun in my experience, it just a distraction.
If you want to keep playing to get better, that is one thing, but it is not an obligation, it is just a game in the end of the day. Ultimatley it is dependent on your for what you want to do but I don't believe there is a such a thing as quiting. Quiting is when you leave a tournament you are registered to, however you have no registration to chess, you have no obligation nor any responsibility, since this is the case don't treat it like one.
Or in other words enjoy the chess journey, but in truth recognize that it isn ot neccessarily something you have to do, just a recreation that you spend limited time on that makes you feel better. However if the game doesn't make you feel better or your feel like it is an obligation or puts pressure on your more than a hobby, then I would advise you to drop it personally as if it is not helping you, it is more likely harming you.
That's my advise for the matter, in this case you probably shouldn't care what others think, just stick to your gut feeling on if you want to continue in the game and perhaps have fun, or spend time in other things like a skill, your health, family, or other things that may be(or probably is) more important to you, if you have the luxory.
It is not worth too much to think about, so just makes the decision and keep it moving, it is best not to waste time, my fellow chess member.

yes i do, thats why i commented here, cuz the post is titled "should i quit chess" and the first comment is an image with stars
muscle memory - the more you do it the easier it gets - just like jiu-jitsu. At first it feels like everyone is better than you and they can visualize moves that you can't. But after a few years you'll come across others who don't see what you see. If you stop because you think you're not that good, well, you just cut off all potential. snip snip. If you keep going, yes, you'll fail, but before you actually realize it, you are continuously winning for the long term. I guess that is what Rickson Gracie has in common with Hikaru Nakamura. No snip snip.

Sorry to be rude, but it's very annoying to me when kids post stuff like "?"
But I guess you thought this was the first page so you asked what it was.
