Should this be draw?

On chess.com, a bishop vs knight endgame will always end in insufficient checkmate material draw, but that’s actually not true, theoretically there could be a mate if you blunder

Frank_Franklin

this is a possible checkmate

Thank you Franklin for pointing this out it may depend on the move tempo on the knight

Your opponent will often also be forced to play the correct moves

This site doesn't use FIDE rules, under which those should not be draws. I agree it's a problem. Like I posted in the other thread a forced knight vs pawn endgame one side could flag and get a draw out of a forced mate position due to one or both sides pieces being considered "insufficient"

At any point white could stall and get a draw by flagging himself. Based on this sites rules.

Yeah hope they fix this soon, I think this isn’t a problem on lichess tho 🫤

All legitimate chess sites should be required to implement FIDE rules. That is the real set of rules. FIDE vs USCF is like Metric vs Imperial, one of them is the laughing stock.
