Now let me ask you: can you prove God exists?

God does not exist.
Did He tell you that?
Nope, because I have never met him, and I've never met him because he doesn't exist.
Prove God doesn't exist.
For a counterargument: prove that god exists.
God exists within the hearts of the people. The ancient Greeks believed that as long as people had faith in something, it existed. I believe God exists, therefore he does. You cannot interpret faith with mere words. It is not conscious thought, but subconscious feelings that cannot be molded into mere words. Now prove that God doesn't exist.
So god is a placebo effect. Is that it? Hmm?
You still need to prove that God doesn't exist, otherwise I'm claiming a win to this argument by your being unable to uphold your side of the debate.
"You still need to prove that God doesn't exist"
Argument ad ignorantium FTW!
"Did you realize we're playing on a checker board and not a chess board?"
The best I've heard is -
"I've never played chess, but I know I'd be good at it because I've got that kind of mind."
I think someone already typed this one, but... "Look! I invented a new opening"
No, you invinted a new opening. And you want it named after you.

they say stop and click my forum!
Hey just a heads up guys I've been told I have to block anyone who keeps going back to the religious topic, which I will gladly do.

How and why would someone think that... sounds kind of conceited to me. I played chess with this one person who said from the very beginning that he would win (I'm sure we all have played someone like this at some point). And he said it in the middle game too. Without going back and forth with him at all, I ended up winning and of course he had to say one more rude thing. People shouldn't speak so surely about things they don't know for sure...
"Anyone could be a grandmaster if they wanted to, I just choose to do different things."
Not grandmaster. World champion at 20 ! (or at 60, having started chess at 55)
Now let me ask you: can you prove God exists?
counterarguement: Can you prove YOU exist?
Well, my username proves it.
Can you prove your username exists? Or that computer you are typing on exists? Or that chair you are sitting on exists?
Can you prove you are anything more than a brain in a vat, being fed electrical signals to be led to believe that it is living in a world where people all walk around with only two arms, two legs, and only one head? A world where snow was white, and the sly was, of all colors, blue? Just to see if you would actually believe such a thing was possible?
Would you not have the exact same evidence before you that you have now?
secrekept
So.... What else does God say to you?
Do others in your family hear these voices. Or are you the only one?
"God" has never spoken with me. Otherwise I would have schizophrenia.
Are you sure you do not have schizophrenia. Not even one of you?
