Why are the US players on this site so much better at middle and endgames then openings ? At my lvl 12- 1300 they often hang pieces and play bad in openings fonly to come back with immence middle and endgame skill sad.png And they of course know all checkmate patterns to convert . US players focus on endgame and not care about openings ?

Openings are too much memorization.

Yes i agree but when i first started playing chess i just thought memorizing a couple of openings would make sure to get to a ok middle game at least , but i see now that middle and endgame are much more important

Best example for first focusing on learning endgames and tactics is Magnus Carlsen.

i don't really care much about anything philosophical in chess, including opening.. for me memorization is enough... i never bother with essence... chess is 100% tactic.. anything abstract is nothing but a subjective matter.. its not valuable enough to help me improve my chess skill
