After a fatal slip of the finger easily spotted by experienced players, is it not fair to offer and accept a draw? Draw / Surrender : not in German vocabulary

Resign and start over.

That's Internet chess for you, slips are part of that unfortunately.

good sports will offer a draw in a close game and its obvious and/or they mention the slip. most people r not good sports though..due to anonymity.

What do you think? Professional sports is all fair play?
Wake up, it's not out of anonymity but out of the desire to beat.

It's just a mistake, same as other mistakes. I've quite often won games due to making a mouse slip. Occasionally the mouse slip turned out to be a brilliancy or it can be that the opponent wasn't prepared for it.

I would never ask for, or expect, a draw after a mouse slip.

How about one of your latest wins then? On move 37, your opponent went 37...Qg6. I wonder if you offered a draw there.

Your opponent surely did not offer draw at all. It's part of online chess. You have to accept the mouse-slip as a mistake just like any other.

I would be really interested in the answer to @eric0022 's question. Good spot by the way
