snooker or chess?

snooker!

I haven't googled it yet(I have too many windows open), but what the hell is "snooker"?

trystie, it's somewhat similar to pool, at least the general idea is similar lol.

Is it anything like, "tallibillichess w/ sharks, lasers, phasers, and tasers in Mongolia"?

I played snooker quite a bit but I always needed someone to stand next to me to explain the rules. Pool is kind of more cool, there is a ball, and ya need to put it in a hole, which I can kinda understand...

9 ball or straight pool for me.  Would like to learn billiards.  A friend of mine is a former national champion and showed me some of the systems.  But, I have never actually played the game.  I do definitely like snooker as well.  But, unfortunately I don't think there are any public tables in sacramento

I guess that snooker is to pool what CC is to chess.

 Not really slower.  Just more balls and different.  More like the differnce between chess 960 and chess(but still not a great analogy).

The tables are much larger than pool tables, the pockets and balls are smaller as well. 

pool's easy, snooker's hard. drafts is easy, chess is hard. same differance

balls are the same, pockets smaller

Greater distance, more restrictions, smaller pockets.

 I have played both and both are difficult to play well. 

You can stick your nose up if you like though:D.
