What ever happened to lower rated players blundering all the time?! I have played for over a year and have done 1000's of puzzles. How am I still 400 rating?! It feels like 1 in 10 games; I'm actually facing someone who is playing at what feels like a 400 rating. My blitz rating is literally stuck in place, and I don't really understand why... or how it is even possible. My puzzle rating is 2100. I have done 1000's of puzzles. Yet the 400s are putting up fights like I've never seen... then the next guy plays exactly as you would expect a 400 to play and hangs a random piece. I don't get it. Ive played for over a year now and I'm still right where I started when I had no idea how the pieces even moved. Doesnt make sense how I'm not progressing at all even the slightest bit... yet Hikary wins 97 games in a row against players 2400+ rated players. I'm not gonna say they are all cheating but something just doesn't feel right anymore. I'm literally stuck in place and it just doesn't make any sense. Also, how am I playing so many players that use the same first 10 moves against my opening... when the guide I watch is like these are some of the least played moves. I literally think people are like cheating for a handful of their moves and then they try a few moves on their own and completely blunder exactly like you'd expect a 400 rated player to do. It's like these drastic swings from people that feel like they have no clue how to play and people playing like really super solid. I feel like I know enough to not just die to these people using the engine and the position gets locked up and I watch them just start shuffling pieces trying to get in. So beyond what you expect a 400 to be doing. And its every other game. These like do nothing moves in the position that don't do anything.. they don't help they don't hurt. They are just waiting for me to mess up or beat me on time because they are up 2 minutes. Even though I play increment there no way through... and then its just like man I cant wait to see how this guy is going to beat me then they find a way to break in and get through all my defense. It's nutty how well they are playing. And I don't think I deserve to just be stuck in place like this with all the work I've put into getting better.
