Some players on this site are way too good/bad for their rating.

Another one that was making GM-moves. It made sense when i looked at his rating. Not a 1700. 

What kind of question is that? Of course some people are going to have extremely high ratings at blitz, either by good luck, getting good at blitz or playing tons of blitz games. It's simple logic and chance.

If you can maintain that kind of blitz rating, you are not an amateur. Period.

I think 1700 is about what my chess.com rating seems to be at the moment, although I expect it to keep dropping as people keep getting stronger and ratings inflate.

Why can't I play people rated much higher than me? The settings stop at +400.
