Your most recent 3 live games were all unrated. You can check that under the "details" tab for the games. The 4th game back was rated, but that one did change your rating, which decreased 8 points due to your loss (1352 down to 1344).

My live games still not getting a rating. About 8 now.How can I rectify this? Is the fault with my settings or elsewhere? Frustrating; very much so especially when I win.

All 6 games I se that you've played so far today were listed under their "details" as having been unrated games. If these are games where you are creating the seek, you must have the option selected that makes the games unrated (the box only has the two options of rated or unrated). If they are games where you've been accepting seeks created by other people, you should be able to see before you accept the game whether or not it is a rated or unrated game.
I have played 4 games but lose or win my rating remained the same. Something must be wrong. Please help
