Basically, you get rewarded for being able to spot a tactical idea more quickly.
However, there is a floor for the rating gain on this site of +5, meaning that even if you take "forever" to complete a puzzle, it's still +5; on the other tactics puzzle I train at, taking too long results in a deduction of rating points even for a correct sequence.
