Speed Chess Harmful?

Are 1 minute bullet rounds, or even 5 minute blitz games harmful to your game? I've read in a lot of places that playing speed chess can ruin you.. Is it true?

2 0 chess is good for me. i believe i improved some due to 2 0 chess.
