Watching World Cup 2011, Judit Polgar is a walker checking other games while Hou Yifan is rooted to her chair.  http://chess.ugrasport.com/

In OTB tournaments, when your opponent is thinking do you walk around? Has your spidey sense let you down and so you return to your own game long after your opponent has restarted your clock.

Edit 2011 08 30: No inkling at all of what would follow. Ironic eh?

Carlsen's spidey sense is perfectly in tune in the following clip (a favourite of mine)

I prefer to crawl, find more loose change, I ain't no millionaire and every quarter goes towards laundry.  I find stepping away from the board and returning allows me a fresh look, maybe catch something that I missed, or just simply relieves frustration and a moment to relax, and reminds my opponent that I am physical strong and agile, and if they don't submit there is a possibility of my crushing their head between my forefinger and thumb after the game like a spider in a wad of toilet paper.
