Splitting a pgn or fen into a series of images

So I'm trying to study some chess games/openings by using "guess the move" but rather than memorize the opening in sequence I'm trying to remember the resulting positions (that way I connect the opening with the position, and the position with the game.)

Its just a method I'm experimenting with, in any case, I need a way to take a fen or pgn file of a certain game and split it into a series of images (so for a 40 move game, there would be 80 images in total, one for each move). 

Is there any software/way to do this, other than manual screenshots on fritz?
