Square Off - Chess Set

Has anybody had any luck trying to find someone to play against with their Squareoff Chess? It is near impossible to get a game in with anybody. With all the boards out there, you should be able to find somebdy. This is by far the biggest drawback with Squareoff. I find it hard to believe that the Squareoff people can’t come up with a better way to find players.

My problem is that I am not playing other chess than Daily Chess here. The reason is that I like the idea to play when I have time. I guess I will begin soon to play some rapid games and will do this with the Square Off. 

Why for the love of god don't they sell these in Australia... Looking at getting one. Does anyone know the warranty of these things? what things are likely to go  wrong with regards to the technical aspect. Can they be fixed in your local region or do you need to send it back.. etc. 

I am going to log onto squareoff at 10 pm Pacific time for the next week if anyone wants to play a game

I contacted Squareoff about the way they have it set up to find available players. I was told by Squareoff that they were going to be integrated with chess.com by the end of this month. They said that should take care of the problem of finding somebody to play against.

I stumbled across a situation that may explain why squares become non responsive. if you start to move a piece say a knight by pressing the from square then change your mind and simply set it easily back on the from square and try to move another piece all the other squares will be non responsive. you must press the square with the knight and it will free you to make another move with a different piece. I have also noticed that it seems necessary to put captured pawns while playing white on the outside row beginning with the loer right corner space previded to store a pawn and don't forget to press. on my board if you place the first pawn capture by white on the inside row at the bottom when the board resets the pieces it will leave that pawn sitting there rather than correctly resetting it this is a big that they should fix

Android users that have a square off board..... you can now try CHESS.COM!!! Integration on your square off board! You must have the beta testing though! LMK If you need help and how it works! I have iOS so ill be waiting a little bit longer  

I don't have my set yet (hopefully I'll receive it by the end of the month!), but I tested this on my android via the app.  It allows you to type the name of a chess.com user and send them a challenge to a rated game at 5, 10, 15, or 30 minute time controls, where you can select which color you'd like.  I'd love to see the ability to seek a game without having to challenge by username.  Does anyone know if that is planned at some point?

I assume that the time control is kept on chess.com. I don’t see anyway to keep time on my board. Also my board moves slower than the on line screen, not sure how to balance the time difference
