That is the solution, but it is annoying that you pay $$$ for cool tech, and then have to stream to fend off people who accuse you of cheating.
However, I guarantee if you don't, the accusations of cheating won't stop.

The Indiegogo site is not encouraging. November is the estimated shipping date for new backers. And it gets worse: the software (Victor) may go to a subscription model. It's a 20% hit if you want a refund but I'm starting to consider it.

Their April update was pretty grim. I'm not sure they will be delivered this year.
They didn't go out and say it, but they admitted that some of their chips they need have a 20 week lead time, so doing the math they didn't expect to get them until September. Apparently, Taiwan and the US have built chip facilities, so the chip shorting is expect to end sooner than that, but I feel those chips may go to the auto industry or other big players before Square Off. India also went back to lockdown due to COVID-19 in April and May 2021, which shut them down.

I am going to keep waiting lol i have the Grand kingdom set already though so i haven't even looked at the email updates or gave it a second thought since i bought it lol (use to waiting from the GKS early bird deal think that took a few years too but i know they are good for it and it will be awesome/worth it when it arrives)
The problem with cancelling your order is that they will charge you 20% of the cost of your order for various admin charges. I enquired a couple of weeks ago so I have decided to just wait.

I have a feeling that they actually will try very hard to ship for Christmas. Hoping that the reason this last update was delayed was to make sure their shipping estimate was realistic. I'm often wrong....

Yo Jeff; you should really start your own thread rather than hijacking this one, and you'll probably get better answers. That said Learn>Analysis>Setup would probably work but I don't know if standard members have access. Good luck.
So the August update is out. Projected shipping will be November, December and January. The Census will shortly be sent where you confirm shipping and have a chance to buy more stuff including carrying cases. Of course the update said everyone would get the Census by August 14 at the very latest. Turns out to have been a typo; they really meant August 24...
But I was accused of cheating in my last game, probably because of the slow response from my side. It takes 5 tot 10 seconds for the SquareOff to execute my opponent's move. And there is no such thing as premoving.
If you play on the special SquareOff server, this problem is avoided, because the software stops the clocks during the execution of the move.
I am afraid that Gothamchess has convinced everyone who always takes 5 ~ 10 seconds is absolutely a cheater. Every article mentions that talks about dewa_kipas always mentions it took him 10 seconds a move, even if the move was forced.
It's a problem for square off users.
