It appears that Staff did indeed take notice.  The threads were removed, and apparently the "member" is now gone. 

Could have been a bot.  Tattletelling on a bot is not a bad thing. 

But human or bot, this member did not join the website in order to play chess, and we shouldn't tolerate such things clogging up a wonderful site like Chess.com.

The best way to report staff about these types of spam is not to create a forum thread, but to simply contact them via the Help & Support link below every chess.com page.

@Philidor:  Yes, you're right.  I should have done it that way, but at the time I couldn't locate the link.  I was looking at the top of the page instead of the bottom, and finally gave up and did the forum post instead.
