Stalemate

Do I need to be concerned about the "game" ending due to a stalemate if I don't mate quick enough?

Should I just google standard rules of chess, or is there a link that I missed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stalemate is when it is one player's move, they are not in check and they have no legal moves on the board.

A draw can be claimed if there have been 50 moves, by both sides, wih no captures or paen moves. One can also be claimed if the postion has been repeated 3 or more times, with the same side to move each time, castling rights have to be the same and if en passant was possible in a position, that does not count as one of the repetitions.

Yes, thank you so much.

That answered everything!
