start a turn based game.. in mid-game

Why don't you just email the moves to each other ad keep a board set up at home?
I don't want to have a chess board sitting out in the living room all of the time (never know which of my pets would decide to rearrange all the pieces or worse yet, eat one) and I'd also like to be able to make moves at work...

Why not just agree to play out the same moves from the original game again and play it here (or anywhere). This time turn off claiming a win on time.
