How many?

yes 900 is beginner learn tactics and use them in your games also learn openings. Good luck!!
Come to think of it I have been stuck on 900 for quite some time, my highest was around 1000.

To reach 2000 blitz you should probably aim to become a good classical player first.
I'd be interested to know if there is anyone who reached 2000 blitz by only playing blitz.

This is advice I can assure you to improve your play and get a higher rating in just a week solve tactics/puzzles every day in increasing numbers.1st day 10 puzzle,2nd day 15 puzzle, 3rd day 20. ..etc .. .also don't play short chess time controls like blitz or bullet play long games 15mis time control to 30 minutes. in beginner's rating you can only just study at least 1 to 2 opening. GoodLuck!

Says the one with a rapid rating of 1000
But yeah, it is kinda true.

What's the point of putting me down because of my rating? I mean honestly, are you just trying to make people feel bad about themselves or what?
I'm not speaking from my own experience, I'm just repeating what I've heard dozens of experienced players say.

Rating doesn't matter when it comes to giving advice for improvement, Chess Requires Great Passion and Hard works. as the famous saying says "“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn´t work hard". You know all the keys to improve but the question is when and how you work for it?

By all means familarise yourself with a couple of openings and be aware of the game changers and pit falls awaiting in the middle game. My advise is to study pawn structures, learn the elementary checkmates and other endgame techniques. Acquiring this knowledge is a two edged sword, not only will you achieve more victories by being able to force more checkmates you'll also be able to avoid more losses by being able to avoid some of those checkmates. The bottom line here is what's the point of gaining a material or positional advantage if you don't know what to do with it!

Exactly. The fact that a 900 is asking how to become a 2000 tells me their priorities are out of whack. Someone who achieves a 2000 rating does it because they put in a ton of time and they truly love the game (with some rare exceptions). A guitar student, on day one of guitar lessons, should not be worried about asking how to become Jimi Hendrix.
I myself is only halfway there, but I can say that it’s impossible to get from 900 to 2000 in a single bound. Play some slower chess, try some puzzles (rushes), and aim for 1200 or 1300 first. Once you get there start thinking about more advanced endgame and opening studies, tactics, and it should be pretty easy to get to 1400. Keep going from there.
Of course, this is my daily strategy, and most of my experience comes from tournaments which puts me with lower rated players, so take it with a grain of salt.

So... by that logic someone higher rated should now say: "Says the man with rating 1350".
"But yeah it's kinda true."
And then someone answer to that man the same way all the way to Magnus Carlsen.
His advice is most likely correct. If someone wants to be higher rated in blitz, he would have to study and practice chess. If he wants to practice what he has read or heard, he will have to play some longer games as well. There might be some exceptions who might get to higher rating in blitz with little to no long games play, but that path is a dead end for most people.
Hey guys so I am an adult now, I use to play chess when I was a kid however I never committed myself to it. So recently I fell in love with this game, so how can I become an expert chess player in the future? My blitz is currently around the 900's so how can I get that to 2000? Should I invest in some private tutoring from expert players to improve because chess is my life right now. Is 900 an intermediate player or beginner?
