Stopping Trollers

By collectively reporting a troller, Chess com is more likely to listen and give them a warning or ban them. Either way the trolls would probably stop it.

By starting a club, more members will be united and coordinated. If all members of a club with a lot of members, do you think Chess.com would ignore, if, say, 80 reports were made within 5 minutes of a guy trolling on the forums? Probably not. That would trigger a response pretty fast. You can join if you want. We need members to help to stop trolling.

Just out of curiosity, how do you think starting a club is going to reduce trolling?

Idk i just wanted to support them. I know its not going to work lol

It does not hurt to try. We all can agree we would rather be without harmful trolls than with. Thanks for your support btw.

I'm guessing not so much. But go ahead and try.

Do you read any of the other posts or do you just type into a vacuum? One comment above claims a single troll has started over 100 chess.com accounts. How does your strategy combat let alone prevent this? Hint: It doesn't.

Best to just ignore the trollers. They are looking for attention. Don't give it to them and they will go away. Save your time and effort for better things.

Tempetown, that is exactly the other good strategy of dealing with trollers. Either get them banned or ignore them. Like your thinking.
