I presume you mean prophylaxis ? Restricting your opponents plan ? Or restricting like in putting all your pawns on same colour as your opponents bishop ?
For prophylaxis: Karpov and Kramnik games are most instructive.
But you should start by the endgame, in which prophylaxis can be seen in it's purest form. Shereshevsky's book, endgame strategy has a chapter "suppressing the opponent's counterplay''. If you already have a good grasp of the endgame, I would go for "Endgame Virtuoso Anatoly Karpov" which has good explanations and is full of profilactic moves.
Dvoretsky also constantly speaks about prophylaxis, and Aagaard in grandmaster preparation has chapters on prophylaxis in Calculation, Positional Play and Strategic Play. His most systematic book is Positional Play.
Does anyone know of a good book on Restriction, besides Find the Right Plan? It's horrible, and I can't find anything beyond a few pages in any given book. I would really like something that has a systematic approach to it, like the Art of Defense.
