Struggling Class E player

Do you play in OTB tournaments? If you have no official OTB rating you're not a class E player. I guess you could say......uh.... ya got no class. Literally.

If youre playing a lot of blitz & bullet, stop. Play slow games while you study.

Hi guys, although I'm using a different name, I started this post 3 years ago. My rating is now averaging 1500, an increase of 300 points from 3 years ago. I have an 1800 rating players who works with me, along with the pointers you guys gave. Thanks

at that level, just try to make fewer mistakes than your opponent and look for tactics while moving forward and taking control of squares / files - that should be enough of a strategy
