I am stuck at 700 for a really long time.....any tips for improvement?

Looking at your stats, you only reached 700 consistently a few weeks ago.

Pick up books and study tactics, spend a bit of time in game to make sure you’re not blundering, or you can be like me and be comfortable at 700 ELO after 3000+ games

Okay you are rated 700, that means you don't blunder much. You don't blunder every move.

You probably  blunder on average 1 out of 10 moves when rated 700. The trick it to get this number up to 1 out of 11 moves. If you do that, your rating goes up significantly.

But how does one do that you might ask, how can one decrease the blunder average?
By learning good habits.

How can you train good habits you might ask?
you train them by repetition, they don't come in 1 day.

What good habits do you need to have, you might ask?

I watched some of your last games and what occured to me is that you seem to lose to simple, yet effective tactics.

It is normal to blunder against tactics. Tactics are good versus humans, because humans fail to see tactics if they are not trained to see them.

tpaul67 vs AdityaJL - 21729639937 -> tpaul67 wins a piece advantage with a "discovered attack": White Pawn with a White Queen behind it, White Pawn moves up and queen attacks the horse.

KhanHuseyn vs AdityaJL - 21727828035 KhanHuseyn wins piece advantage with a "fork".
You should always be carefull when a horse gets close to your side of the board, is it possible for the horse to attack two pieces at once, than try to mitigate it, before it is too late.

Ofcourse after you know this you will not suddenly stop blundering against tactics in future games, but the the trick is: if you lose to them allot, identify the reason afterwards, and try to get signs of the danger. If you see the signs of danger next time, you will know what to do and slowly decrease the chance of blundering pieces to the tactics.

As you get higher elo, your rate of improvement will naturally be slower. Your progress from 200 to 700 might happen in a few months, but it might take another 6 months or a year to consitently be above 1000. Chess opponents get more tough to beat consistently at higher ratings.

I climbed from 500 to 700 in a week but now it's been a week and I'm still stuck in the 700 Elo. As you climb the ranks easily you start to see people at the same level as you and you will slow down until eventually you start seeing a realistic amount of improvement. Improving is a very slow process. You don't see everyone turning 2000 Elo in a year.
