Studies

Hi guys! If you could, I would appreciate it if you could post some instructive studies or puzzles that I could try to solve and mess around with.

It would be best if the study is for below master level btw, but im fine with anything overall.

All right, have you seen the Lamford Puzzle yet? Here is the pgn diagram for it, but I won't post it in puzzle format. When you have messed around with it enough, then you can watch the video and read the YouTube comments or the club announcements comments to catch some other nuances the video didn't cover.

Puzzle is White to move and win. White must find the method of breaking through the fortress position (Black will mostly just shuffle the King leaving White to find a way to breakthrough).

All right; have fun I might be able to offer other puzzles in the future too, but they will probably just be in pgn format rather than an entire video on it. I just thought of this one, since it was the first to pop into my mind when I read this forum thread post.

hi qmj, if this is challenging to you remember that puzzles are often solved by process of elimination.

The standard puzzles in the puzzles section will work much better for you + they are going to be tailored to your level.
