Study plan to increase my ratings

hello .I learnt the rules of chess at the age of 8 but started playing seriously 3 months ago.I want to know how to increase my ratings . I have lost a lot of games and want to known how I can start to win.somebody told me to analyse the games of experts but it's not that easy and takes a lot of time.l also want to know what time format is good for me.
i very recently started to go over my own games
i would write notes as i played- and go over the game move for move after the game giving further thoughts and impressions
this is time consuming and it was difficult for every game so i started setting aside a few games to use this approach while "freestyling" the other games
i have also been going over games in chernov's logical chess book and the approach he uses in his book is kind of what i strive for in my newbie analysis
it does feel like time well spent as my most recent games feel like i have more cognizance in the whole process
