Sudden fall in blitz rating

I have recently reached 1600 blitz and was succesfully continuing my quest towards 1700 with great progress. Suddenly, in no more than two days my rating falls from 1620's to 1510's! The players whom I  easily outplayed before with tonnes of time left on the clock now seem to play perfectly. In most of the games I play decently and often manage to get an advantage, but when realizing there is only 30 seconds left, I panic. This has not been a problem before, even up to three days ago. So what has suddenly made me so much weeker and made me feel as if I am playing bullet?

You played 200+ games in March and saw your rating rise from 1358 at the end of February. You barely reached 1600 for one game on March 21st and then you sat on your rating and didn't play at all for two weeks (until April 3rd).

It's completely normal to have a rating fluctuate up and down. It's also completely normal to see a rating fall when you stop playing for a while.

It's not like your rating had been there at 1600 for years.

Your 500 point improvement since last year is great. You should be happy.

Don't focus on a few losses.

Thanks, if it was exactly like those statistics displayed it, yes, I'm just complaining, but the statistics only show improvement per day. What I found strange was that after my break from chess (those couple of weeks) I was playing better than ever, and managed to get a lot of victories. I played a lot that day, and I was never below 1600. So why do I fall so tremendously the day after that? One would think that my decrease in rating would happen right after.
