A number of people have a special set of glasses for computers. Then again all these people are programmers so the investment is well worth it for them, maybe not for you.

" how do you walk down the sidewalk, look up, look down, without falling down?"
It takes careful concentration until you become accustom to them. Steps are the worse, yet the human mind is able to make fantastic adjustments. I wear trifocals and I do not even notice the lines any more.

Please direct me to a site that advertises these special glasses. I spend a great deal of time looking at a compute at work, as well. Thank you.

I've worn continuous correction lenses for many years. They're like bifocals, but the change is contiuous across the lens--no line. When I first put them on, it was like standing on the deck of a ship during a storm, and I thought I'd made a terrible mistake. But the human brain is amazingly adaptable, and within half an hour, I was completely accustomed to them and I've never looked back.

I'll look into them. Thank you.
Don't laugh, but I can't see the stupid screen unless my nose is pressed right up against it.
I have corrective lenses for seeing far, but nothing for reading. I've tried those pharmacy store reading glasses, but feel I'm looking through a magnifying glass. Everything looks goofy.
Bifocals? I don't want some strange line in my glasses, along with needing to figure out which way to direct my eyes. I mean, how do you walk down the sidewalk, look up, look down, without falling down?
Is there a better solution?
