Surviving the Elite League: Tips for the Next Level?

Hey everyone! I recently made it into the Elite League, and the jump in competition is real. The games feel much tighter, and mistakes seem to get punished a lot faster than in the lower tiers. For players who have successfully maintained their spot here or moved up to Champion, what was the biggest adjustment you had to make? Are there specific bad habits I should actively focus on breaking now that I'm at this level? Would love to hear your experiences and any tips you have for holding my ground!

The jump in competition you seemed to notice can't be coming from the people in your division, because you do not play them.

Your opponent selection has not changed

uh i hate to break it to you but leagues have absolutely nothing to do with the competition or anything
leagues are pretty useless in that sense, it's just for who plays many more games and wins more points, it has nothing to do with your skill level, even a 100 rated guy can eventually reach legend league after playing many games
so whatever competition is there is from your own games and opponents regardless of which league you're in :/

I think all that changed is that your rating improved about 85 points— from about 245 to 325 in rapid.

Keep up the good work
