Swapping a minor piece for 3 pawns?

Those games were just for fun; there were many errors thrown around especially by me, and there is nothing much to learn from the game though. Perhaps you can look through to figure out why I make the sacrifices, and in what circumstances these sacrifices fail or succeed.

Sacrifices, are always risky. Rarely do you see the world champions sacrificing. It happens on occasion but, usually they play solid. A good idea! GM's don't accept Smith Morra gambit often. They usually just play solid. Maybe sacrificing brings more enjoyment to the player but it also brings more losses 9/10! I would say learn the strengths and weaknesses of the position! Learn how to manipulate the squares. Sacrificing is not the key point!

Depends though, but it is really fun; the games were not too serious anyway, and this forum topic is on swapping a minor piece for 3 pawns, and DavidEricAshby requested for some games with sacrifices included, so it will be appropriate, in the context of this forum topic, for me to post some of my games with minor piece sacrifices.

@ lil boat 21, If you are a smith morra gambit player why not join the group? I am playing NM gambits 4 fun and probably getting smashed in the smith morra but, in GM play it is rarely seen. I just wanted to see what he played and he played book. I recommend Mahem in the Morra by Marc Esserman if you like the Morra but as Eric said. This forum is about sacrificing a minor piece for 2 or 3 pawns!
