Hi all, just a quick one, what is the difference between a normal and swiss style tournament?

I'm not sure what "normal" refers to. Perhaps you mean Arena and Swiss?
Arena: After finishing a match, you queue up immediately for the next match. This means you can have a different number of total games compared to other participants. (https://support.chess.com/article/335-what-are-arena-tournaments)
Swiss: A set number of rounds. The round begins when all games from the previous round ends. (https://support.chess.com/article/758-what-is-a-swiss-tournament)
