It is not a new concept. It is sometimes referred to as a thinking or thought process. I do this practice not in my games, but during solving each problem in chesstempo dotcom.
The one that I'm going to work out soon is the thought process on picking candidate moves then how to do the calculation. This is complex, and causes blunder in my part.
Hi all ,
What do you think before each move ? Do you follow a a step by step list or do you play free style ...?
I am thinking about working on some kind of list that will review all major steps that a chess player should think about in order to choose the next move ...
to secure his side, to avoid blunder,to see things that are not obvious ,etc etc ...
a checklist that you have to follow before each move in order to secure your game...
for example:
- check your side , is there any direct danger ? witch pieces are weak ?
witch side is weak ? is there any winning sacrifice ?
witch piece are or could be pinned ?
- check the opponent side , witch pieces are weak, witch side is weak ? is there any winning sacrifice ? witch piece are or could be pinned ?
is there any possible fork , etc etc
i will try to work on that check list ...and if you do want to join the concept and do it on your own , then it would be interesting to compare our work..
see u ...
