Tactics

That one will need explanation...
Unless this is leading up to the beaten to death topic of the points,
So you get the tactics rating points based on the percentage of the tactic you finished. The percentage is based on how many moves you do correct out of the total number of moves in the combination and also on how long you take on the tactic. Each tactic has a target time, and the more time you take compared to the target time, the percentage of the tactic goes down. At least that's how I think the tactics on chess.com work. I gave this answer as I think you were talking about getting one ore two points on a correct tactic and losing around 8 points on an incorrect tactic.

Rigged may be personal perception!
How many tactics did you play so far? 1,000, or 100,000?
What is your expectation?
My perception is that a person need to play 10,000 tactics to get 2,000 rating.

Yes. Overall I think they are mostly fair. But I do think the point loss for getting them wrong is too low. Which means they are rigged to give people tactics ratings that are higher than their true ability. I dont think I'm 2100, but tactic trainer says I am. So in that way it might be rigged a little bit.
