How do you set the Tactics Trainer so that you only work on tactics withing a certain ratings range (e.g., 1200-1350). I heard this can be done.

I think the puzzles there are adjusted according to your rating. If you're around 1300-1500, then the puzzles which will be given to you will be in that range too, but if you get higher that that, then the puzzle difficulty will be adjusted too.

I was told there is a way to override that, so the puzzles don't keep getting more and more difficult. This is the was the Soviets used to train. Apparently, you can set this up on both Chess.com and ChessTempo.com.
