This was really interesting and useful. One of the better blogs I've read.
Tactics vs Strategy

Very interesting. That article has made me think about the game differently; though at my level "strategy" seems a very big word.

Strategy is the war plan, tactics are what you do with the soldiers in the field.
In chess, there are many war plans, tactics are the openings you choose as white and the defense you select as black, hoping to outfox your opponent.
It takes years to learn the war plans. So in the meantime, I concentrate on one opening, learn all of its quirks (opponents do some weird stuff!), and then move on to the next opening. I study the reverse opening when I'm black.
In the meantime, I try to have a lot of fun. Because in the final analysis, chess is a game, not a matter of life and death

😊🐳💤 my primary tactic goes around unexpected moves !? => pushing my special troops into the battlefield without fear of death & Loss ... as my strategy is simply enjoy the dancing of the Mind on board & to detach myself from win-lose illusion based on the fact that all Chess-souls reincarnate on the board in the next-Life = Match ... only the degree varies !!!!!
so Detachment is the Key ... & knocking the door will be your own Tactic ... so get in dear
now I open my Mouth for the TUNA herds
anyOne welcome into my OCEAN
