Never mind. I see it.. /facepalm
Tactics : Why isn't this intermediate move preferable?

Try playing or setting up analysis games on the free Lucas Chess (http://lucaschess.pythonanywhere.com/) which includes Stockfish 8 - you can double-click any move and it will be analyzed for you so you can see that, in this case, you would drop your other Bishop, too.
We all miss moves - I sometimes use Lucas Chess because I can't see why my "solution" to a tactic puzzle is not better than the right solution.

Thanks. I wish the tactics engine here had this option, would be an excellent addition to the website. Im getting up into 1400 level and I have to admit, half the time I dont understand WHY the opponent must take the intermediate moves they do, and the other half of the time, the line ends before I can see how white makes use of a positional advantage.
Black to move. The computer wants me to take the bishop on d6 with my queen, leaving my own bishop hanging on h3 (the tactic is considered 'solved' here). Why not first sacrifice that bishop by killing the pawn on g2, forking white's king and queen and forcing a response, and THEN taking the bishop on d6? I'm going to lose my bishop either way, might as well erode white's position.
