Yeah, there are issues with TT.
But its purpose isn't to make us good at chess, its purpose is an incentive for users to purchase a membership, and e.g. increasing the quality from a 6 to a 9 costs more money than it would bring in.
Tactics with repeat solvers! Average time decrease from 29 mins to 1:40 mins

Here is a problem 2900+ rating . After thinking 25 mins, I can answer 6/9 correctly only. So I checked other people's comment.
This problem in 2010, average pass rate 3.4 percent, average time- 29 minutes( like me)
Same problem in 2013, pass rate become -12%, average time become 9 minutes.
And in 2017 pass rate become 50%
And now 2019, target time 1:40 minutes.
