I think controlling it will be a nightmare.
There is no way you can stop the team members from colluding. Otb they are not allowed to communicate.

I wonder if their is a place to play team chess. What I mean by this is where you have a partner and you alternate moves, likewise your opponent, has a partner and they alternate moves. I think this would be a fun experience.
I have seen this played many times OTB but have never found a chess site that offers this variant. Chess.com's team chess seems to be the traditional one player per board mode.
